Hello, my name is Denise Castellanos and I derive from California in the United States of America. I am a student of environmental engineering at College of the Canyons and I intend to transfer to UC Berkeley to further my studies. I came to Gvozd with the intention to learn things that I likely wouldn't know how to learn back home without the guidance of our project leader Maja Turniski. I am incredibly grateful to have been given the opportunity to stay in this town and meet the many amazing children that make up the town's youth. I myself am still young and the hidden messages that the children were meant to teach me may take some time to truly manifest but when that day comes I will convert the energy behind those messages into the motivation and will necessary to keep pushing to change the world for the better.
