Hello…..

We are Matilda, (20) from Scotland and Jovana, (18) from Serbia, two of the volunteers from this year`s workcamp at Suncokret.

We have really enjoyed our time here in Gvozd and it has really flown by! Although we were here in the middle of a heatwave! We always found the kids full of energy and eager to learn!The kids really liked  the games we played with them, especially wink murder which we must have played at least 100 times! They were also really interested in learning about  our cultures and languages –filling out their language books with pride!

We found volunteering at Suncokret to be a really rewarding experience  and one that we will remember forever.

Thanks to great kid, the people who donated food to us and those that cooked for us!

We will definately miss all the kids and hope to be back soon….
