I have been in Gvozd now for four weeks and am constantly amazed by the dedication of staff and positive contribution Suncokret exhibits throughout this small & fragile community. On-going difficulties abound as a consequence of the war and as refugees return and have to once again re-establish themselves in the community Suncorkret is ever more necessary to provide a secure, non partisan group who helps in whatever way possible with their limited resources. The work is varied and very fulfilling ranging from interacting with children to delivering donated furniture to returnees. I certainly wish them all the best in maintaining their enthusiasm and commitment within the local community. They do an amazing job !
