Hi, my name is Valerie and I came to Croatia from Los Angeles, California. I go to school at the University of California at Santa Cruz, where I study psychology. I came to Gvozd because I wanted to experience a lifestyle completely different from my own. I have found so much joy and satisfaction in helping and being around all of the people that I met and it is an experience I will never forget! These two weeks have significantly changed my life in more ways than one and I cannot wait to spread the knowledge I've obtained here with my family and friends back home.
